A step-by-step guide for real estate agents transferring their Iowa and Illinois licenses to Epique Realty. Follow each phase in sequence to complete your transfer smoothly.

Go to Join Epique and click Join Application
Complete the form with your information. You will need:
When it asks you to input the most INFLUENTIAL person, think about who influenced you to join Horacio. If you don't have anyone in mind, you can add Horacio Marquez. This cannot be changed.
Continue through the rest of the application
Towards the end, you will be directed to a payment screen to pay the $99 Join Epique fee and your 1st monthly fee of $104.95 ($99 + 5.95 processing fee). Input the debit or credit card you'd like the monthly fee to be debited. This will charge that card the $204 dollars. TRG will reimburse you in the form of a check for the $99 Join Epique fee.
Once your application to Join Epique is complete, you may move forward to Phase 2.

You do not have to wait for the Iowa License confirmation before beginning Phase 3. These can and are often done in the same sitting as Iowa and The Epique Realty Application.

Continue through the form and answer the questions. See above for Firm License number. Continue through until you get to the main application page.
Click Complete Checklist > Complete the 3 questions. Effective Date is (enter todays date or your official transfer date).
Go back to main application page, click Review Submission. Click Upload next to E & O insurance. Upload your certificate and then click Upload again, then Save
Click on the "Submit for Review" button. During this step, you will be required to input the firm's license number or the broker sole proprietor you are transferring to.
Once Commission staff has reviewed your transfer application, both your releasing broker and your new affiliating broker will receive e-mail notifications from the Commission to approve or decline the transfer. Only after both brokers have electronically signed your application is your transfer considered complete. Once the license has been reassigned to your new affiliating broker, e-mail notifications are sent to you, your releasing broker, and your new affiliated broker.
Confirm & Submit
Once the PLB receives your application, it will notify your current broker (if applicable) and Holly of the request. Both brokers need to approve the transfer, and then a human approves it back at the PLB.
Once the transfer has been completed, you should receive an e-mail confirmation from the Real Estate Commission, which will include a copy of your real estate license. There is a $25 Transfer Fee.

Login to the IDFPR Portal
From your home page after logging in, click Online Services in the top right corner.
Under License Application, click Licensure Options.
You will be directed to a page with your license number along with a link to Start. Click Start.
Select Transfer Active License to New Brokerage Firm then Next.
Answer the questions and go through the prompts. See above for Firm License Number and Address.
Once you complete your application, you will be redirected to pay the $35 Transfer/Sponsor Fee.
Unfortunately, IDFPR does not provide a confirmation that the application has been received but you will receive a confirmation the Transfer Fee has been paid.
Licensed in Both States: You do not have to wait to receive both licenses before starting this process. If you have already received your IA license, you may start this process and then just repeat it when you get your IL license.
Once you received a copy of either updated license, it is time to send it to Epique and the local board.
For QCARA email copy of either license to iabroker@epiquerealty.com, ilbroker@epiquerealty.com, and pgreen@qcarealtors.com, and copy you on the email.
Now you can advise Epique Realty that you are "onboard" with the states and that you should move your license forward with Epique Realty. You will receive your @Epique.Me e-mail alias and welcome e-mail. Make sure to save this email as it has all login credentials. SAVE SAVE
Please note the board does have a transfer fee that they will ask you to pay. In the QCARA it is $100. Same fee if you are new agent.
Download and complete these forms as part of your license transfer process. All forms are required for a complete transfer.
Authorization to Transfer and Release Listing Contract/Agreement. Required for active and pending listings.
Authorization and Release To Transfer Representation Under Purchase Contract. Required for pending transactions.
Fictitious Name Agreement. Required for team transfers.
